Let's have a look at our modules:

Module 1 — The Value in a Story

Build the foundation of your business story—your vision, mission, values, and the “why” behind what you do—then learn how to communicate it in a way visitors understand and connect with. You’ll also clarify who your customers are, how word-of-mouth works, and how to set goals and plan.

Module 2 — Point of Difference

Identify what truly makes your business different and learn how to commit to it—without copying trends or becoming a “me too” experience. Explore industry trends strategically, learn how to position yourself in the marketplace, and use pricing, communication, and “anchor moments” to stand out.

Module 3 — Creating Your Image

This module focuses on building a consistent, trustworthy image—what visitors notice, what creates confidence, and how your team delivers the experience. You’ll work through the Image Wheel (covering everything from product knowledge and labelling to customer service, training, and emotional connection) and ensure your brand is consistent on-farm and online.

Module 4 — The Visitor Experience

Design how visitors move through your farm—what they see, what they do, what they learn, and what they take away. You’ll cover display building, benchmarking, signage, accessibility, inclusion, biosecurity as education, and customer service strategies that create memory, trust, and repeat visits.

Module 5 — Adding Value

Learn practical ways to increase value without relying on discounts. This includes price strategy (avoiding the “sale trap”), packaging and product combinations, adding knowledge as value, partnering with other businesses, and using technology to improve the visitor experience and sales.

Module 6 — Farm Entertainment

Plan entertainment that fits your farm and your season—what works, what doesn’t, and how trends affect visitor expectations. You’ll cover practical structures like “grab and go,” food offers, and risk awareness so entertainment adds value rather than stress.

Module 7 — Marketing

A straightforward view of marketing that covers the essentials: traditional marketing, online marketing, external and internal marketing, and how to use user-generated content and influencer partnerships in a way that suits rural businesses.

Module 8 — Farm Stay and Farm Restauraunts

This module focuses on farm accommodation and restauraunts as an agritourism pathway—how it fits within your broader visitor experience and how to align it with your brand and operations.

Module 9 — Mental Health in Agritourism

Support for the realities of running an agritourism business—pressure, boundaries, team wellbeing, and how wellbeing trends connect with visitor expectations. This module addresses both operator wellbeing and staff support as well as how you can utilize the Wellness Trend as a tool for your business offerings.

Module 10 — The Future of Your Business

This module helps you think longer-term—legacy, expectations (from customers, team, society, and technology), trends in agritourism, emerging technology, and regenerative tourism. It’s about staying relevant and building a business that lasts.
